My Story
Beautiful Bangladesh is a small country in South Asia & that’s where I am from and live in
Curious about Computer (Childhood)
I was born on September 16th, 1994 (though all my certificates say it’s 1995). From my childhood, I felt more attracted to computers. When I was 13 years old, I tried to find a way to keep in touch with them, but unfortunately, computers were not available in my area (village) at that time. I remember that in my school (called Tahirpur Madrasha, Rajshahi), I saw a computer but had no access to the computer room. In 2009, I got my first opportunity to start learning and practicing with computers as a primary subject in class 9. I can’t express how happy I was. When I finished school, I again tried to find a way to continue my studies in Computer Science. I even asked my friends and family if I had any options to continue.
Essential Steps of My Life
After finishing school in 2011, I joined the Bangladesh Polytechnic Institute College in Rajshahi for a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering. After attending a few days of classes, I felt I needed a personal computer to learn more effectively. So, I called my father and asked him to buy a laptop for me, falsely claiming that the college required it for attendance. A few days later, my father bought me a laptop, and that marked the beginning of my journey.
Once I had a computer, I tried to connect with several people to learn and work with them, but I couldn’t find proper guidance. Then, I heard about “freelancing” and how one could work for international clients or companies. I met a friend who offered me $0.05 for each Facebook account I created. I accepted his offer, started making Facebook accounts, and sold them to him after a few months. With the money I earned, I bought a web development video course to start learning.
Mission Web Development
After watching the web development video course, I started learning and practicing website creation in 2013. I tried to apply for various web development jobs and submitted my creations to the Envato marketplace, but I failed due to my lack of knowledge. Additionally, I didn’t know how to apply for jobs in the international market. I should also mention that, at that time, the internet was not widely available in Bangladesh.
Mission Graphics Design
After failing in the web development sector, I began learning graphic design by watching videos on YouTube. I submitted many designs to the Envato marketplace, but none were approved. I then joined UpWork and applied for numerous jobs in web development and graphic design, but I ultimately failed to secure any of them.
Mission Android App development
In 2015, I finished my Diploma in Engineering. Despite my previous failures, I decided to pursue a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at the Green University of Bangladesh in Dhaka. My family had informed me that they would be unable to afford my tuition fees and living costs, so I started looking for jobs in local companies to support myself. Despite applying to many companies, I was unable to secure my desired position.
In 2016, I met a college friend and asked him what he was currently doing. He told me that he was developing Android apps, submitting them on Google Play, and earning money through Google advertising. He showed me his apps, which were generating $100-150 a month. Inspired by his success, I felt confident that I could create better and more professional apps.
I began learning and developing Android apps, and eventually, my income stabilized at around $100-150 a month, just like my friend’s. With this income, I could afford my living costs, while my family continued to pay my university tuition fees.
After two years of study, due to financial problems, my family could no longer pay my tuition fees, so I had to quit my graduation.
Finally success (Alhamdulliha)
In 2019, I decided to start working internationally, so I joined one of the leading freelance marketplaces, Fiverr. On the third day, I received my first order for $25. I completed it successfully and made $172 in that month. In the following months, I earned $296 and $380 by selling my services. That’s how my career as a freelancer began.
I always strive to learn and implement something new. Next, I learned iOS development, SEO, various CMS, Artificial Intelligence, and more, continuously discovering and learning new things. Currently, I am focusing on creating websites and providing SEO services to help small businesses and individuals.
After achieving financial freedom and overcoming a family crisis, I re-enrolled from scratch in 2022 to finish my BSc in CSE at Rajshahi Science & Technology University in Natore, Rajshahi.
What i do now? and What is the goal?
Now, I spend most of my time building businesses, creating content, and forming a team with talented people to help more businesses and individuals.
